Willkommen in der Erdbeerwelt :)

Da ich diese Woche komplett frei habe und das Haus ganz mir gehört, dachte ich, ich könnte doch mal was besonderes machen. Also habe ich mich zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben alleine auf einen Roadtrip gewagt und eine meiner Schulfreundinnen in Tübingen besucht. Glücklicherweise gab es kaum Komplikationen auf der Fahrt und ich hatte sogar Spaß (ICH! Beim AUTOFAHREN!!!)! Als ich dann endlich in Tübingen ankam, musste ich erstmal noch auf meine Freundin warten, da ihre Arbeitsschicht noch nicht ganz zu Ende war. Also habe ich mich kurzentschlossen auf den Weg gemacht und Tübingen ein bisschen selber erkundet. Es hat geschüttet wie aus Eimern, weshalb ich mich in die erstbeste Buchhandlung gerettet habe um ein bisschen zu stöbern. Tatsächlich habe ich es geschafft, einmal den ganzen Laden und jedes Buch anzuschauen, das mich interessieren könnte, bevor meine Freundin fertig war und wir uns treffen konnten. Es war eine wirklich kleine Buchhandlung. Und meine Wunschliste ist jetzt um die Hälfte gewachsen.
Ich wurde dann ein bisschen durch die Gassen von Tübingen geführt (glücklicherweise hatte es endlich aufgehört zu regnen). Tübingen ist wirklich wunderschön und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! (Auf meiner Fotoseite zeige ich euch ein Beispielbild.) Dort habe ich auch ein paar Ohrringe gekauft und ein wirklich furchtbar süße Magneteule (Foto auch auf der Fotoseite)!Wir haben dann noch ganz lange in ihrem Zimmer gesessen (mit Blick auf den Neckar! Wunderschön!) und gequatscht. Ich glaube, wir hatten was das angeht einiges nachzuholen. :D Nach dem Abendessen habe ich mich dann wieder auf den Weg nach Hause gemacht. Es war ein wirklich wirklich toller Tag und ich freue mich schon sehr auf nächstes Mal!

As I am completely free of any obligations this week (plus I am the only one home) I thought I could do something special today. So I decided to go on a road trip to Tübingen to visit one of my friends from school. This was the first road trip I would do on my own! Without another person sitting next to me!! Kind of scary... Anyways, uckily there haven't been any big complications and I arrived at Tübingen safely. I even had fun driving. (ME!! DRIVING!!!!). After my arrival I had to wait for my friend to finish her shift. Because I didn't want to sit there and wait for an hour I decided to explore Tübingen a bit on my own. The rain poured and I quickly went into a bookstore nearby to take a look at all those beautiful books. In fact I had enough time to look at all the books I could be interested in before my friend was ready to pick me up. I guess I don't have to mention that my books-wishlist is way longer now than it was before.
She directed me through all the little streets of Tübingen afterwards (luckily the rain had stopped). I have to say: Tübingen is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen (If you want you can click on my photopage to see a picture of Tübingen)! I loved it! It is always worth a trip. During our walk through the old town, I bought a pair of earrings and an unbelievably cute megnetic owl (Photo on the photopage :) )! Afterwards we sat in her room (which has a view on the Neckar river! Stunning!!) and talked for a long time. I guess we had to make up all the time we couldn't talk to each other. We then had dinner together (It was really yummie :) ). Sadly, I had to leave shortly after that. I have to say it was a great day and I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Tübingen.

Die letzten paar Tage war ich ein letztes Mal bei meiner Freundin Inga zu Besuch. Die meisten von euch sollten sie kennen. Für die, die sie nicht kennen: Inga ist schon seit langer Zeit meine beste Freundin und wohnt in meiner alten Heimatstadt. Wir schreiben uns viel und telefonieren ab und zu mal. Aber wenn wir dann mal telefonieren, dann mindestens eine Stunde am Stück. Außerdem versuchen wir uns so oft wie möglich zu treffen. Sie wird nächste Woche weit weit weg fliegen und ich werde sie für ziemlich lange Zeit nicht mehr sehen. Deshalb war es mir sehr wichtig, sie noch einmal zu besuchen.
Wir hatten die letzten paar Tage sehr viel Spaß zusammen. Natürlich durfte zuerst mal das Shopping nicht fehlen. Es ist sozusagen Tradition, dass wir während meines Besuchs mindestens einmal in die Stadt gehen um einzukaufen,
Auch mit Inga war ich im Kino wobei ich feststellen musste, dass es im hiesigen Lichtspieltheater (wie ihre Mutter so schön zu sagen pflegt höhö :D) keine Schülerpreise gibt! Man, war das teuer... aber es hat sich trotzdem gelohnt. Wir haben uns "Lone Ranger" angesehen und es war wirklich wirklich lustig. Auch das ist eine Filmempfehlung für euch!
Das Feiern durfte natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Wir haben fast die ganze Nacht durchgetanzt und Spaß gehabt. Wir haben auch die komischsten Gestalten gesehen, was zu solchen Uhrzeiten wahrscheinlich nicht mal ungewöhnlich ist. Wir waren erst irgendwann um fünf zu Hause und sind vollkommen fertig ins Bett gefallen.
Wir haben die Tage wirklich genossen und alles rausgeholt, was wir konnten. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass es ihr die nächsten paar Monate gut geht und wir viel voneinander hören!


The last few days I have been at my friend Inga's house for the last time. Most of you ought to know her (well, at least my German speaking readers should know her :D) For those who have never heard of her: Inga has been my best friend for a long time and she lives in my former hometown. We mail each other very often and give each other a call from time to time. But when we talk on the phone, we do that for at least an hour. Also, we try to visit each other as often as possible. Next week she will pick her plane to a place far far away and we won't be able to meet for long time. Because of that it was very important to me to visit her once more before she leaves.
We had so much fun together! Frst of all, we went shopping. It is almost a tradition for us to go shopping together when I stay at her place. At least once!
We've also been to the movies together to watch "Lone Ranger". This is another movie recommandation! WATCH IT!!! :D I had to notice that my original hometown doesn't have extra prices for students in their movie theatre. This was most probably the most I've ever paid for a movie. It has been way too expensive but anyways... it was worth it.
Of course partying shouldn't be missed. We danced through the night together with some of our friends and had fun like crazy! We've also seen some strange creatures at the club which is not that unusual for a club at this time of the day...or better time of the night. When we finally hit the bed it was almost 5 a.m. and we were really REALLY tired.
We really enjoyed our time together and made the best out of every second!I really hope that she will have as much fun at her new place as we had these past few days! Plus I am lready looking forward to her first letter from far far away.

Die letzten paar Tage war meine Tante mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Kindern bei uns zu Besuch. Ich habe sie schon ziemlich lange nicht mehr gesehen und mich deshalb sehr über ihren Besuch gefreut. Es war mir vor allem sehr wichtig, meine kleine Cousine, die gleichzeitig meine Patentochter ist, nochmal zu sehen, bevor ich mich in die große, weite Welt aufmache. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß zusammen. Das allergrößte Ereignis war, dass wir die erste Radtour meiner Cousine gemacht haben! Sie kann erst seit einem halben Jahr Fahrrad fahren und war mächtig stolz auf sich, als wir wieder zu Hause ankamen - genauso wie meine Tante. Sie wäre fast geplatzt vor Stolz. Es war wirklich schön. Wir sind auch alle zusammen im Kino gewesen und haben uns "Ich, einfach unverbesserlich 2" angeschaut. An dieser Stelle muss ich eine große Filmempfehlung aussprechen: Der Film ist der WAHNSINN!! Den müsst ihr euch unbedingt angucken. :)
Natürlich hat an den paar Tagen auch das Gequatsche nicht gefehlt. Wir haben uns viel unterhalten und das hat echt gut getan. :)
Im Oktober wollen wir uns nochmal mit der ganzen Familie zu einer Wochenendsradtour treffen. Mal sehen, ob ich bis dahin schon mehr über meine Amerikareise weiß. Vielleicht bin dann ja sogar schon weg? Wir werden sehen...

The last few days my aunt and her family stepped by for a short visit.I haven't seen them in a long time so I was very happy about their stay at my house.The most important thing for me was to see my little cousin again, who is also my goddaughter. I really wanted to meet her again before I start my trip to the United States. We had lots of fun together. The best thing was our little cycling tour which was also my cousin's first cycling tourof all time! She just learned how to cycle half a year ago which is why she was really proud of herself when we arrived back home afterwards. Of course my aunt was very proud, too. She almostburst with proud. :D
We've also been to the movies. The movie we watched is called "Despicable Me 2" and it was AWESOME!! Please watch it! It is really really great!
These past few days have also been full of talking of course. It was really good to talk to everybody once again,
In October we want to meet again (this time with the WHOLE family which also includes my uncle and his family and my grandpa) to cycle once more. This time for a whole week-end! Let's see how that will turn out. I hope that I will know more about my trip to the US till then. And maybe I will already be gone by then? We'll see...
