Das Zeichen hat sich jedes Mal geändert, wenn ein Tier vorbei lief. Jagte zum Beispiel eine Katze ein Huhn in die Nähe des Zeichens, wechselte es zu "Chicken Sandwich" // This sign always changed when an animal ran by. Week 7:

Ich habe dieses Foto gemacht, als ich mit Anna am Green Mountain wandern war // I took this photo on my hike with Anna at Green Mountain

week 8:

Hier seht ihr das tropische Haus vom botanischen Garten in Denver // Here you can see the tropical house of the Botanic Gardens in Denver

Jean beobachtet die Enten und Fische, die in einem kleinen Teich schwammen (hätte ich auch gerne gemacht! Ich bin fast zerflossen) // Jean is watching the ducks and fish which swam in a little pond (which I would have loved to do,too. It was so hot in there...)







Dieser Wasserfall war schon fast beeindruckend // This waterfall was almost impressive...

Zu der Zeit gab es eine spezielle Orchideenausstellung im botanischen Garten gemacht. Ich habe ungefähr tausend Fotos gemacht, aber ich dachte mir, ihr findet Blumenbilder bestimmt nicht so interessant ;) // At the time we've visited the Botanic Gardens they had a special exhibition with orchids. I took a lot of photos but I figured that you wouldn't be that interested in them. ;)

Fotos ~week 6 1/2~
Nachdem ich zurück nach Golden gekommen bin, haben meine Mum und ich es uns zur Gewohnheit gemacht, "geimeinsam" eine Tasse Tee zu trinken, um mein Heimweh ein bisschen zu lindern. Das hier ist mein superleckerer Früchtetee, den Mama mir in ihrem ersten Päckchen zugeschickt hat // After I came back to Golden, my mum and I made it a habbit to drink a cup of tea "together" to ease my homesickness. This is my super delicious fruit's tea which my mum sent me in her first package



Von der vielen Teetrinkerei ist meine Kreativtität wieder zum Vorschein gekommen und ich habe endlich, endlich mal wieder geschrieben // From all the tea drinking my creativity finally came back so I could finally, finally write again



Diesen riesigen, kuscheligen Elefanten hat Jean zu Weihnachten bekommen und er liebt ihn über alles // Jean got this big, cuddly elephant for Christmas and he loves it more than anything!



Das erste Mal schwimmen seit über einem Jahr! Yay! // The first time I will be swimming for years! Yay!



Unser gesundes Essen nach dem Schwimmen. Naja, zumindest die Deko war "gesund" // Our healthy meal after swimming. Well, at least the decorations were "healthy"



Anna musste das komische Blatt Etwas natürlich probieren. War wohl nicht so lecker // Anna hat to try this weird leaf of course. Didn't taste that good I suppose

Diese Säule ist ein Gedenkstein für alle Veteranen. Komischerweise hatte sie einen Stein , auf dem man perfekt sitzen konnte, wie ich es hier demonstriere! // This column is a memorial stone for all the veterans. Oddly it had a stone for sitting attached, as I am showing on this picture!

Das war die komplett weiße Kirche von Innen. Wirklich schön! // This was the white church on the inside. Really stunning!

Jean hat doch tatsächlich einmal ganz kurz mit den Holzklötzen vom nature center gespielt! Jean has actually played with the woodpieces at the nature center for a short time!



Der schönste Moment an meinem Samstag: das Wandern! // The most beautiful part of my Saturday: the hiking!



Das war eine seltene braune Kuh auf der Cowboyshow. Die meisten waren schwarz und flauschig // This was one of the rare brown cows at the cowboy show. Most of them were black and fluffy



Ein Kälbchen gab's doch tatsächlich auch! // There was also a calf there in fact!



Und eine Kuh aus Eis gab's auch // And a cow made out of ice was there, too



Tadaaaa!



Victoire hat mir diesen Baum gezeigt, als wir zusammen gewandert sind. Überall in dem Baum sind kleine Herzen aus Stein! Egal ob bei den Wurzeln oder in Astlöchern // Victoire showed me this tree when we were hiking together. It is full of hearts! Between the roots and even in the knotholes



Jap, es lag noch Schnee / Yup, there was still snow

Dieser Pfau stand am Eingang des Zoos bei Victoires Konzert // This peacock was standing at the entry of the zoo at Victoire's concert



Im Schlangenhaus durfte man ein paar Tiere anfassen. Adrien ist die Sache aber nicht ganz geheuer // At the snake house of the zoo you were allowed to touch some of the animals. Adrien is not quite sure if he likes it, though



Der Tiger guckt in die Richtung des Pfaus. Ob das wohl Absicht war? // The tiger is looking in the direction of the peacock. Have they done this on purpose?







So sah der Großteil des Zoos aus. Wunderschön! // That's how mostpart of the zoo looked like. Beautiful!



Das Ding ist in seinem Käfig rumgekrochen wie irre. Und sie war so dck wie mein Oberschenkel! // This thing crawled around its cage like crazy. And it was as big as my thigh!



Hier waren Victoire und ich nach dem Konzert noch. Das Hippo hat sehr unfeine Dinge gemacht... // victoire and I have been here after her concert. The hippo was behaving very indelicate...

Das Highlight unseres DVD-Abends: der Fernsehtisch. Man konnte die Tischplatte hoch und wieder runter fahren, um ganz gemütlich am Sofa essen zu können. // The highlight of our dvd-evening: the TV-table. You could put the tabletop up and down which allowed us to eat in front of the TV comfortably.

So sah der Eingang vom Roxborough State Park aus. Erinnert mich irgendwie an Australien! // That's how the entry of Roxborough State Park looked like. Somehow reminds me of Australia!











Das war ein altes Sofa in einem kleinen Haus, das ein reicher Herr Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts gebaut hat, um seine "Freunde" zu bespassen. Eigentlich wollte er nur ihr Geld, um eine Ferienanlage zu bauen. // This couch is standing in a little house built by a rich man at the end of the 18th century. He used it to entertain his "friends". Actually he just wented them to give him his money so he could build a holiday resort.



Einer der alten Ofen, die in dem Haus standen. Inklusive Feuerlöscher. // One of the old ovens standing in the house. Extinguisher inclusive.



Ein zweiter Ofen, der wohl eher zum Kochen benutzt wurde. // Another old oven which was probably used for cooking.



Das war das Eingangsschild vor dem Haus // The sign at the entrance.



Der Blick von der einer der Aussichtsplattformen // The view from one of the viewpoints



Dieser Fels sah aus, als wäre er vom Himmel gefallen und zwischen den anderen Felsen stecken geblieben // This rock looked as if it would have fallen from the sky getting stuck between all the other rocks.



Dieser See liegt am Eingang vom Park. Im Hintergrund kann man in natura wunderbar Denver sehen, was aber auf dem Foto sehr schwer zu erkennen ist // This lake is located at the beginning of the park. You could also see Denver in the background but it's hard to see it in the picture

Fotos ~week 2~
Letzte Woche habe ich leider nicht so viele Fotos gemacht. Dafür gibt es aber wieder eine Menge für Woche 3. ;)
Sadly i couldn't take many photos last week. But I can promise that there will be a lot more for week 3 again. ;)


Das ist die Aussicht, die man von unserem Spielplatz aus hat // This is the view we have from our playground



Adrien spielt auf unserer Terrasse. Wahrscheinlich versucht er wieder, die ganzen "bad guys" loszuwerden, die hier rum laufen. ;) // This is Adrien playing on our terrace. HE's probably trying to get rid of all the "bad guys" running around again.



Adrien am Spielplatz, wo wir Mittwochabend noch zusammen waren // Adrien at the playground were we have been n wednesday evening.



Und das ist Jean wie er Steinkuchen backt. War sehr lecker. ;) // And this is Jean baking stone-cake. It was very delicious. ;)







Das ist der Tee, den Raphaelle mir gekocht hat, als ich Mittwochabend krank war. Rosmarin-Thymian-Tee mit einem Spritzer Limonensaft und ganz viel Honig. // This is the tea that Raphaelle made for me when I got sick on wednesday evening. Rosemary-thyme-tea with a little Lemonjuice and a lot of honey.



Charlotte St. Pete im frozen yoghurt place. Hier gab es ungefähr zehn verschiedene Joghurtsorten und mindestens nochmal so viele Toppings. Ich hatte Waldbeer- Schoko- und Vanillejoghurt mit allen möglichen Schokoladigen Toppings. Und Erdbeeren und Ananas natürlich. :) // Charlotte St. Pete at the frozen yoghurt place. They had at least ten different yoghurt flavors and at least as many toppings. I had berry-, chocolate and vanilla-flavoured yoghurt and a bunch of chocolate toppings. Plus strawberries and pineapple of course. ;)

Die standen auch im "Little Bear". Seht ihr die ganzen alten Nummernschilder im Hintergrund? Die hingen dort überall! // I found this at the "Little Bear", also. Can you see the old license plates in the background? Those were everywhere on the walls!

Für diejenigen von euch, die bis jetzt noch nciht erkennen konnten, woraus die Deko besteht. Die Regel ist: Schmeiß deinen BH während des Konzerts auf die Bühne und du kriegst ein freies T-Shirt //For all of you who still could'nt tell what the actual decoration was. The rule is: throw your bra onto the stage during a concert and you get a free t-shirt

08/26/13 - day 1 - Fahrradtour über den Leuchtturm nach Rerik // bike trip to the lighthouse and to Rerik

Diese Kirche ist über zweitausend Jahre alt! Kaum zu glauben, was? // This church is more than two thousand years old! Unbelievable!

08/29/13 - day 4- Fahrradtour nach Warnemünde // bike trip to Warnemünde

Blick aufs Meer in Nienhagen, wo wir bei unserer Radtour eine kleine Pause eingelegt haben. // The sea view in Nienhagen. We had a little break on our bike trip there.

Durch diesen Märchenwald sind wir mit dem Fahrrad gefahren. Wunderschön, oder? :) // We rode through this fantastic forrest with our bikes.It is stunning, right? :)

Die einzig auffindbare Attraktion von Warnemuende: Der Leuchtturm. // The only traceable attraction of Warnemuende: the lighthouse.

08/30/13 - day 5 - Ausflug nach Bad Doberan // trip to Bad Doberan

Die hundert Jahre alte Bahn "Molli", mit der wir nach Bad Doberan gefahren sind // We took this train to Bad Doberan. It is one hundred years old and its name is "Molli"

Ich präsentiere: Das Innenleben von Molli // That's Molli from the inside.

Diesen kleinen Racker haben wir während der Zugfahrt entdeckt. :) // We discouvered this little rascal when we were riding the train. So cute! :)

Das ist das Bad Doberaner Kloster von außen // Here you can see the outside of the monastery in Bad Doberan

Von dem alten Kloster in Bad Doberan sind innen nur noch diese Bögen übrig // The only remains of the inside of the ancient monastery in Bad Doberan are those arcs.

08/31/13 - day 6 - Ausflug nach Wismar // trip to Wismar

Gespendete Bücher in der St.-Nikolai-Kirche in Wismar. Gegen eine kleine Spende konnte man sich eins mitnehmen. Sieht nach einer Traubibliothek aus, oder? ;) // Donated books in St.-Nikolai-Church in Wismar. You could take one in change for a small donation. Looks like a fantastic lilbrary, right? ;)

Nachdem wir auf dem Konzert in der St-Georgen-Kirche waren, habe ich noch ein Foto mit Ray Wilson bekommen :) // After the concert we in St.-Georges-Church was finished, I got a photo with Mr Ray Wilson himself :)
